"What:    5K Run/Walk and Kid's Dash to kick off Diaper Need Awareness Week

When:     Saturday, September 25, 2021

Where:    McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg

Why:      To raise funds and gather materials to support babies and families in Dane County experiencing diaper need. 

PRIZES:   Prizes will be awarded for the most online donations collected and the most diapers brought to the park! See event page for more details!

Diaper Need is Increasing!

• 1 in 3 families struggle to afford diapers.
• Diapers cannot be bought with food stamps or WIC.
• A lack of clean diapers puts babies at health risks and parents in emotional distress.
• Pregnancy Helpline’s Diaper Bank supplies over 20,000 free children’s diapers each month to Madison area families.
• Those numbers keep increasing and we are on track to provide our 1 MILLIONTH diaper this year! 

• Have fun and get the word out about Diaper Need Awareness Week in Wisconsin. All proceeds support the Diaper Bank.
