From the Executive's Desk

Mother's Day is this Sunday! As I reflect on all the mother's we serve week-after-week, it makes me so grateful for all of our donors, volunteers and supporters. YOU are essential! Whether you are someone working directly with clients, administering a program, a donor, a delivery person, someone who sorts donations or bundles diapers, a support person for someone, or whatever role you are playing - You are essential.  There is no way we would be able to make such an impact without all of YOU. YOUR donations, YOUR countless volunteer hours, the support YOU provide makes you ESSENTIAL!

THANK YOU!

We have fully re-opened! The Sharing Center is NOW OPEN for in-person shopping both Tuesday nights 5-7pm and Saturday mornings 9-noon. We are still offer curbside pick-ups as well clients that wish to utilize that service. Check out the News3 story!

Offering clients the option of both in-person shopping and curbside pick-ups, requires extra work to make sure things run smoothly and we need a few extra "hands on deck".  See the Volunteer section below for more information on how you can help. Please consider commiting to a shift once a month!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

May Wishlist

TOP 5 ITEMS NEEDED THIS MONTH

1. BABY WIPES - Our goal is to provide families with a package of wipes each month. That's over 300 each month!

2. Industrial-sized Food Film - we use this to wrap our diaper bundles and we are expecting a huge donation that will need to be wrapped before sending to our partner agencies. This item can be found on our Amazon wishlist.

3. Diapers size 6 - While we accept all sizes, size 4-6 are the sizes we go through the most and size 6 is getting low. (Size 6? Shouldn't babies be potty-trained by then? Only about 50-60% of children are fully potty-trained by age 3 and if there are special needs or stressful circumstances it will more-than-likely be later)

4. Paper Grocery Bags - Each family that visits the sharing center can fill up a bag with items. We go through over 300 bags each month.

5. Metal Shelving Racks - We are looking to utilize more of the open space in the warehouse to make our sorting process more efficient and clean.  We could use 16 of these racks.

View our website for a list of all items accepted/needed.

Items can be brought directly to the center or shipped to
